Dear Everyone,
While driving home after our healing event yesterday, several thoughts were dancing on my mind that I would like to share.
In our journey through life, we are never alone. Not only is Jesus always with us to HEAL us and give us strength. Jesus also sends people to help us along the way. More so, if we look to the scriptures, we find Jesus telling us outright: go and make disciples. We are to be a Filipino Apostolate of disciples who teach disciples to make disciples. And disciples are made by bringing each person to know and love Jesus.
Everyone who came to our Eucharistic and Healing Service this weekend witnessed Father Suarez’s love for his people. It confirmed my belief that he heals everyone (mind, body and soul) so we may be reinstated into the community and restored in our dignity as children of God. I was touched by the oneness and discipleship that all of us have shown even from the very first time as we were planning this event. For that reason, I am very, very grateful.
Again, ALL of you made us proud.
Your disciple in Christ,
Nards Gutierrez
