In times of crisis, such as that surrounding Typhoon Bopha, families can become separated from each otehr, and many turn to the Red Cross for help. In collaboration with the International Comittee of the Red Cross, the American Red Cross searches for loved ones missing as a result of war, natural disaster, or civil unrest. In 2011, we worked on behalf of 5,300 families.
At this time we would like to remind yu that the American Red Cross of Eastern Massachusetts is here to help your community. If you or your family has been affected, or if you know of someone residing in Eastern Massachusetts who has been affected by the recent typhoon in the Philippines, we are accepting family linking inquiries for missing loved ones.
