These past two weeks have been characterized by street protests against racial injustice and police brutality against our black brothers.
We, the Filipino Apostolate of the Archdiocese of Boston, a community of believers in Jesus Christ and His message of peace, fully support the stand of the Catholic Church on issues of injustice and racial inequity.
In solidarity with all the Catholic communities of the Archdiocese of Boston, we strongly support our Shepherd, Cardinal Sean O’Malley on his statement against racism.

Faithful to the teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ, we affirm as a community “the inestimable value of every person’s life. We commit ourselves to foster respect and justice for all people”.
We encourage all our Filipino brothers and sisters to reflect on the Cardinal’s statement and respond as individuals and as a community and renew our commitment to our baptismal vow – to bring the Light of Christ into the world to make a difference.
